Volume Transfer

This is aim to transfer a volume from one owner to another from the GUI.

The steps below are operated by the volume donor.

• Detach Volume (if needed)
  It is not allowed to transfer a volume if the volume is attached to a server. Thus, make sure that the volume is detached before creating transfer.
  Volume>Edit volume>Manage Attachments>Detach Volume
• Create Transfer
  Name the volume transfer and note down the Transfer Name, Transfer ID & Authorization Key.
  Provide these information to the new owner of volume.

As the volume recipient, the steps below are for reference.

• Accept Transfer
  Volumes>Accept Transfer
  Input the information provided by volume donor, Transfer Name, Transfer ID & Authorization Key and accept volume transfer.
